Job Summary
Prepare and administer a curriculum that will develop students into empathetic, competent, dynamic physical therapists as life-long learners
Required Qualifications
Education: · An entry-level doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy program. · Preference given to those with an academic Doctoral degree (e.g. PhD, EdD). All but dissertation ( ABD ) candidates will also be considered. Experience: The college is seeking an optimal match between individual qualifications and assessed ability to contribute to the College’s mission. All qualified candidates will be considered. Rank (Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Full Professor) will be determined based on the College of Health Sciences’ Faculty Guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Eligibility for licensure in the state of Oregon. Expertise in pediatric physical therapy / Anatomy / Physiology Curriculum development experience in a CAPTE -accredited physical therapy program. Professional association membership with evidence of advocacy for physical therapy profession.
