Environmental Engineering Manager with NJ P - Remediation & Waste Management (Hybrid) – Lebanon, NJ
This Environmental Engineering Manager will lead high-impact environmental projects including landfill design and construction, wastewater treatment, and large-scale groundwater remediation. You will provide technical leadership, manage concurrent projects, and directly support company growth reporting to the COO.

Compensation & Benefits:
$120,000 - $130,000 / year

Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering services involving civil, environmental, and industrial wastewater
- Complete design analysis, prepare engineering cost estimates, and prepare civil or remedial design packages including drawings and construction specifications
- Oversee construction projects and manage documents, diagrams, planning documents, and reports for environmental characterization and remediation projects
- Handle Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey permitting of industrial wastewater discharge, soil erosion and sediment control, and general site planning
- Work with major federal environmental and safety regulations including RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, OSHA, TSCA
- Direct, lead, and implement concurrent environmental services projects and tasks
- Provide technical leadership to engineers, drafters, and administrative support and review and approve documentation
- Develop cost estimates for feasibility studies and remedial designs for Superfund, brownfield, and other contaminated sites
- Perform engineering design including preparation of drawings, specifications, calculations, and operation, maintenance, and monitoring plans
- Establish and monitor schedules and budgets, empower project teams to deliver projects with strong financial performance
- Lead, support, and direct project engineers and assistants in planning, scheduling, and implementation
- Direct training and mentoring of subordinates in management philosophies, techniques, leadership, and policies
- Develop and implement local marketing and growth strategies in coordination with director of marketing
- Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and other business functions
- Maintain client communication, ensure satisfactory client experience, project production, and QA/QC procedures
- Maintain defined level of chargeability and support other offices

Requirements:
- Current New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
- 15+ years of experience in the environmental engineering field
- 6+ years of progressive management experience
- Experience in landfill design and construction, wastewater treatment, and large-scale groundwater remediation
- Experience preparing proposals and budget estimates
- Substantial technical and project management experience
- Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and Refresher Training
- Ability to travel as necessary
- Current New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
- 15+ years of experience in the environmental engineering field
- 6+ years of progressive management experience
- Experience in landfill design and construction, wastewater treatment, and large-scale groundwater remediation
- Experience preparing proposals and budget estimates
