Business Data Analyst

Location

Beirut – OMT Head office

Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing and conducting the collection, conversion, transformation, visualization and analysis of data for insights that will lead to informed business decisions. Responsible for developing data-driven insights through the constant modification of the existing business intelligence solutions and to make insightful recommendations and reports.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Collects, cleans, and validates data from multiple sources
• Analyzes datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
• Builds and maintains dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI, Excel)
• Supports business teams with ad-hoc analysis and performance tracking
• Defines and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Automates recurring reports and data workflows where possible
• Works with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
• Analyzes commercial data such as budgets, sales results, business activities, and forecasts, and link them to business development activities and decisions
• Performs quantitative analysis by identifying, analyzing, and interpreting new business plans and opportunities
• Ensures data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems
• Presents findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Supports in the preparation of the Monthly Business Review reports
• Connects frequently and actively with colleagues probing for additional information to improve the overall division output
• Submits weekly, monthly & yearly reports and measures performance and results

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualifications:
• University Degree in Business Administration, MIS or equivalent
• Certification in Business Analytics is a plus

Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in English and Arabic; French is a plus
• Analytical & Numerical oriented
• Ability to make use and to provide value out of Data
• Ability to interpret indications out of numbers
• Power BI dashboard development
• Advanced experience in Ms. Suite specifically in Excel (Pivot Table)

Relevant Experience:
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in data analysis
