Nurse-PM Shift

As a Nurse at Dr. Costi House of Beauty, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support within a high-end cosmetic dermatology clinic. You will work closely with the medical team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of clinical procedures and treatments. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver outstanding nursing care, maintain a safe and hygienic environment, and contribute to the overall success and reputation of the clinic

Responsibilities

1. Assist physicians during procedures: Provide support to the physician during in-office procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are prepared and readily available. Monitor the patient's vital signs and comfort levels throughout the procedure.
   
2. Patient care: Administer pre- and post-procedure care, including wound care, managing medications, and monitoring for any complications or side effects.
   
3. Patient education: Educate patients and their families about the services offered at Dr. Costi House of Beauty, including pre- and post-treatment instructions, at-home care, and any potential side effects or complications.
   
4. Prepare treatment rooms: Ensure that treatment rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked with supplies. Sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with strict infection control protocols.
   
5. Coordination of patient appointments: Collaborate with the front office staff to schedule and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring a smooth flow of patients within the clinic and minimizing wait times.
   
6. Maintain patient records: Accurately document patient information, treatment details, and any follow-up care recommendations in the clinic's electronic health record system.
   
7. Compliance with clinic policies and procedures: Adhere to the clinic's policies and procedures, including maintaining patient confidentiality and following established protocols for infection control, privacy, and safety.
   
8. Continual learning: Stay up-to-date with advances in nursing practices, cosmetic dermatology treatments, and relevant healthcare regulations.
   
9. Team collaboration: Work closely with the entire clinic team to provide exceptional patient experiences and ensure the smooth operation of the office.
   

Requirements

Candidate requirements

Education & Experience

1. Current and valid nursing license is required.
   
2. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program.
   
3. A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, or related medical setting.

1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and caring demeanor towards patients.
   
2. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
   
3. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
   
4. Knowledge of relevant medical software and technology, with a willingness to learn new systems.
   
5. CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
