We are seeking a skilled and compassionate "Family Medicine Doctor" to join a leading Lebanese Hospital in Kano, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, providing preventive care, and managing chronic diseases.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical exams and medical histories to diagnose illnesses and injuries
- Prescribe medications and treatments for acute and chronic conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, X-rays, and MRIs - Provide counseling and education to patients on topics such as nutrition, exercise, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and pharmacists, to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with medical knowledge and best practices
Requirements:
- Medical degree
- Completion of a residency program in family medicine
- Current license to practice medicine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based medical care
