Our client, a dynamic and innovative multichannel retail platform, is seeking a Logistics Specialist to oversee and streamline their logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the logistics lifecycle, including importing goods, inventory management, sales logistics, and last-mile delivery. This role is critical to ensuring smooth operations and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Import Operations: Manage the end-to-end process of importing goods, including documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with local regulations.
- Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers and warehouses to ensure optimal inventory management.
- Last-Mile Delivery Management: Address and resolve challenges related to last-mile delivery, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies within the logistics process and propose improvements to enhance speed, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and other external partners.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations while maintaining accurate records and reports for all logistics activities.
- Problem Solving: Act as the point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving logistics-related issues quickly and effectively.
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and last-mile delivery logistics.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
