• Assist medical or dental professionals with procedures, exams, and treatments
• Provide patient care, including vital sign measurements, preparation for exams, and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, both electronic and paper-based
• Ensure a safe and hygienic clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols and regulations
• Prepare and restock exam rooms, treatment areas, and other clinical spaces
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment ### Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in medical or dental assisting preferred
• Current certification as a Medical or Dental Assistant (CMA or CDA) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe * 1-2 years of experience in a medical or dental setting, preferably in an assisting role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
