About the Role
Pinnacle Partners is recruiting for a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician on behalf of a client in Lebanon, Indiana. We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to support preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and facility support in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. This role will work with a variety of manufacturing equipment and systems while supporting machining, assembly, testing, and advanced coating operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machinery and coordinate with OEM technicians for repairs covered under warranty.
- Check electrical power supplies and diagnose electrical issues involving systems up to 480V.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical meters to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Repair, test, and make adjustments to machinery as needed.
- Assist with emergency equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
- Perform minor welding and fabrication as needed.
- Assist with installing new machinery and moving equipment within the plant.
- Communicate with equipment vendors and OEM machine builders when additional technical support is required.
- Support equipment across multiple areas of the facility, including machining, assembly, testing, and coating operations.
- Assist with facility maintenance needs as required.
- Maintain and support equipment used in advanced coating and surface treatment processes.
- Work with equipment including CNC machines, power supplies, chillers, coating systems, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized maintenance work environment.
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Exposure to electrical systems and currents up to 480V.
- Experience with machining, coating, assembly, testing equipment, or similar manufacturing machinery.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Familiarity with welding and fabrication.
- Ability to communicate with equipment vendors and OEM machine builders.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical meters.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR-related work.
- Clean driving record.
Preferred:
- Associate degree or formal education in Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with chillers and power supplies.
- Experience assisting with facility maintenance.
- Familiarity with ladder logic or basic automation troubleshooting.
- Forklift experience or ability to operate a forklift.
- Military maintenance experience.
- Experience supporting defense, Navy, Air Force, or Department of Defense-related manufacturing.
