As a Maintenance Technician / Millwright, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems throughout the plant. What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Technician / Millwright, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems throughout the plant. You will play a critical role in supporting production uptime, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
In This Role, You Will:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process control systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, compressors, piping systems, and other production equipment.
- Perform equipment alignments, belt and chain replacement, bearing replacement, and precision mechanical repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair AC and DC drives, PLC-controlled equipment, instrumentation, sensors, and electrical systems.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, piping diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Install, modify, and repair electrical circuits, motors, motor controls, and associated equipment in accordance with company standards and applicable codes.
- Layout, build, and wire small to medium-sized control panels and equipment modifications.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as required to support operations.
- Program, calibrate, and troubleshoot instruments, sensors, and controllers.
- Identify equipment deficiencies and implement corrective actions to improve safety, reliability, and performance.
- Create, manage, and complete maintenance work orders accurately and efficiently using the CMMS.
- Assist in equipment installations, commissioning, and plant improvement projects.
- Specify and coordinate procurement of maintenance materials, replacement parts, and equipment components.
- Respond to emergency equipment failures and support production operations as needed.
- Follow Lean Manufacturing principles including 5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Maintain safe work practices, including lockout/tagout procedures, confined space requirements, machine guarding, and other applicable safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications
- Three (3) years of maintenance, millwright, mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Possess and maintain a valid Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) License.
- Possess a Journeyman Millwright Card/Certification or demonstrate equivalent industrial millwright experience including installation, alignment, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and process equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and safe maintenance practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs, drives, instrumentation, and automation systems
- Experience building and wiring electrical control panels
- Computer proficiency and experience with maintenance management systems
- Experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment
Your Work Schedule
This is a full-time, non-exempt position working Monday through Friday. Schedule flexibility may be required to support emergency maintenance activities and production needs, including occasional after-hours response.
