Job Description: our Client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their finance team. As a Junior Accountant, you will assist in various accounting tasks and contribute to the overall financial health of the company. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting within a dynamic and reputable organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations.
- Assist with financial reporting tasks, including the preparation of financial statements and variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned by senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous internship or work experience in accounting is a plus, but not required.
