The IT Internship at ${NGO_Name} offers a dynamic and impactful opportunity for early -career professionals to gain hands -on experience in a mission -driven environment. As an integral part of our technology team, the intern will support the organization's digital infrastructure, contribute to system improvements, and assist in maintaining secure, efficient, and scalable IT operations. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about leveraging technology for social good, seeking to develop practical skills while supporting the NGO's outreach and program delivery. The internship fosters professional growth through mentorship, real -world projects, and collaboration with cross -functional teams, providing a strong foundation for a career in IT within the nonprofit sector. Responsibilities:Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems.Support the setup and configuration of user devices and software applications.Help document IT procedures, inventory systems, and technical assets.Participate in the implementation of cybersecurity best practices and data protection protocols.Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues and improve system efficiency.Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal digital tools and platforms.Attend team meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance technical and soft skills.Provide timely and professional support to staff across departments with IT -related inquiries. Requirements:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Strong communication skills to interact effectively with non -technical staff and team members.Demonstrated problem -solving abilities and a proactive mindset in identifying and resolving technical challenges.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute positively to group goals.Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS), office productivity software, and networking fundamentals.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) is a plus.High level of integrity, adaptability, and a commitment to the NGO's mission and values.
