Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics in Lebanon, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution facility, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to site protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and site operations.Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter potential risks and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors as needed.Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Closing
