POSITION PURPOSE
Keep production supplied with all necessary items; ship product; maintain accurate roll, packaging, and stock inventory.
 
1st Shift: 7 am to 3 pm, Monday - Friday
 
PAY: Up to $24/hr.

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE THESE ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Safely operate vehicles such as forklift, clamp truck, drexel, stand-up picker, and wire-guided man up turret.
  • Perform daily equipment operating checklist on all warehouse and shipping vehicles.
  • Load and unload trucks with vehicles and pallet jacks.
  • Stock and release inventory items.
  • Accurately keep track of counts in inventory.
  • Perform counts on all product shipped and all product received to ensure accuracy.
  • Apply paperwork including skid tags, packing lists and parcel labels to product shipping out.
  • Supply manufacturing with packaging, large paper rolls and all other warehouse items when requested.
  • Perform cycle counts on inventory items.
  • Efficiently organize the dock staging areas.
  • Shrink wrap skids manually and with the shrink-wrapping machine.
  • Use computer to look up information needed to perform daily tasks.
  • Miscellaneous tasks as indicated by management.
  • Follow company procedures.

MUST-HAVES
  • 2+ years of forklift experience.
  • Warehouse and inventory experience preferred.
  • Complete and pass a forklift trial with the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Valid Driver's License and Transportation.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug Screen that also screens for marijuana.
  • Ability to work overtime.
 
PHYSICAL + MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with other team members, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
  • Frequent standing, crouching, bending, climbing, stooping, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling pallets, near/far vision, talking, operating a keyboard, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.
