At the core of Grin's platform is Gia, our AI-powered system that helps brands identify the right creators, understand performance, and make smarter, data-driven decisions. Gia relies heavily on high-quality, well-modeled data — which is where this role comes in.
The Role
We're looking for a Data Engineer to help build and maintain the data foundation that powers Grin and Gia. You'll work with product, engineering, and analytics teams to ingest, transform, and model data across the platform using AWS, Databricks, and MySQL.
This role is ideal for someone who likes working close to the product and wants to see their work directly impact how customers use data and AI.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain data pipelines in Databricks
Ingest and transform data from MySQL and other product sources
Write and optimize SQL and Python transformations
Help model data used for analytics, reporting, and AI-driven features in Gia
Improve data reliability, performance, and scalability
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and analytics teams
What We're Looking For
Experience as a Data Engineer
Hands-on experience with Databricks
Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python
Experience working in AWS
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, product-focused environment
Nice to Have
Experience with Spark / PySpark
Experience supporting AI or ML-driven products
Experience with creator, marketplace, or e-commerce data
Startup or high-growth company experience
