Animator (Freelancer)

Job Title: Advanced Animator

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop animation concepts, storyboards and motion design aligned with brand strategy and campaign objectives.

• Execute advanced animations (2D, 3D, character, motion graphics) from concept through delivery.

• Collaborate with marketing team to integrate animation into broader content.

• Manage the full production pipeline: asset creation, rigging (if required), animation, texturing, lighting, rendering, compositing.

• Apply advanced software tools and plugins/add -ons as needed.

• Optimize animations for different platforms (social media, web, mobile, events) ensuring correct format, resolution, and performance.

• Maintain organized animation libraries, version control, and deliverables archive.

• Mentor junior animators, set animation standards and best practices within the team.

• Stay current with animation trends, software updates, and emerging techniques; propose innovation in animation workflows.

• Ensure animations meet deadlients, and quality expectations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Motion Graphics, Digital Arts, or related field (preferred).

• Minimum 5+ years of professional animation experience; advanced level preferred (8+ years) for senior roles.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of animation types – motion graphics, character animation, 3D scenes, brand -driven work.

• Expert proficiency in animation software, compositing, and rendering workflows.

• Deep understanding of animation fundamentals: timing, weight, movement, easing, appeal.

• Good knowledge of pipeline for 3D animation: modelling/rigging/animation/lighting/rendering/compositing OR for 2D animation: asset creation, rigging, frame‐by‐frame, compositing.

• Experience optimizing animations for web, mobile, and social platforms (format, size, performance).

• Excellent communication, collaboration and time -management skills; able to handle multiple projects in parallel.
