Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team in Beirut, Lebanon. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of our organization.
- Manage and update general ledger accounts with precision and accuracy
- Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Record journal entries and reconcile bank statements
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with Lebanese accounting standards and international regulations
- Prepare and submit VAT and other statutory reports as required
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Knowledge of Lebanese accounting standards and tax regulations
- Experience in preparing financial statements and reports
- Ability to work with multiple currencies
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
