*Summary:*  We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef to join our dynamic culinary team in the Western Pastry industry. This role is central to crafting exquisite, high -quality desserts and pastries that elevate the guest experience and uphold our brand's reputation for excellence. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for designing, preparing, and presenting a diverse range of Western -style pastries, confections, and beverages including coffee and tea, ensuring consistency, creativity, and adherence to food safety standards. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to innovation, the ideal candidate will contribute to menu development, maintain inventory, and mentor junior staff. This position is ideal for a creative professional with 2–5 years of hands -on experience who thrives in a fast -paced, artistic kitchen environment. *Responsibilities:*  - Design, develop, and execute innovative Western pastry and confectionary items in line with seasonal menus and customer preferences.  - Prepare and present a variety of desserts, including cakes, tarts, éclairs, croissants, and specialty pastries, with precision and artistic flair.  - Manage and prepare beverages such as coffee and tea, ensuring consistency, quality, and proper presentation.  - Oversee daily production schedules, portion control, and inventory management to minimize waste and maintain supply levels.  - Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and food safety protocols in compliance with local regulations.  - Collaborate with the executive chef and kitchen team to develop new menu items and refine existing recipes.  - Train, mentor, and supervise junior pastry staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.  - Ensure all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and operated safely and efficiently.  - Monitor and report on product quality, customer feedback, and operational efficiency. *Requirements:*  - 2–5 years of proven experience in a professional Western pastry kitchen, preferably in a high -volume or upscale dining environment.  - Expertise in Western pastry techniques, including laminated doughs, chocolate work, sugar art, and cake decoration.  - Proficiency in preparing and serving coffee and tea, including knowledge of brewing methods and beverage presentation.  - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with guests.  - Creative flair with the ability to innovate while maintaining consistency in flavor, texture, and appearance.  - High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality and presentation.  - Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast -paced kitchen environment.  - Valid food handler's certificate and knowledge of HACCP or equivalent food safety standards.
