As part of the organization's new People Strategy, which aims to strengthen governance, compliance, and talent development across all entities, the Legal Department is expanding its capacity to support HR, organizational, and policy -related reforms. This role supports the ongoing harmonization of employment frameworks and compliance tools under the People Strategy. The Legal Fellow will assist in drafting and reviewing documents, conducting legal research, and supporting the development and harmonization of internal policies across multiple jurisdictions. The Key Responsibilities are:Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's legal and HR handbooks.Review, update, and standardize agreement templates across the organization to ensure consistency and compliance with applicable laws.Develop a Q&A handbook compiling the most recurrent legal and compliance questions for use by the HR and Finance Departments.Conduct legal research on relevant laws and regulations in Lebanon, UAE, KSA, and Egypt to ensure compliance with evolving legal frameworks.Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and templates supporting the company's operations and governance needs.Support in updating the Code of Conduct and internal policies to maintain alignment with local laws and best practices.Collaborate with other departments to ensure all policies and procedures are legally compliant, coherent, and up to date.Assist in intranet updates, ensuring that legal and compliance policies are easily accessible and current.Contribute to the design and testing of a Legal LLM -based chatbot for internal use, supporting the company's digital transformation and AI integration efforts.Refine chatbot responses in collaboration with the legal and IT teams. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Law from an accredited university (Master's or postgraduate studies are a plus).1–2 years of prior experience in a consultancy, legal role, internship, or fellowship, preferably within a multi -jurisdictional or compliance -focused environment.Good understanding of employment and corporate law in GCC jurisdictions (UAE, KSA, Egypt preferred).Demonstrated interest in technology, automation, and AI applications in legal or organizational settings, with basic familiarity with related tools and platforms.Strong research, drafting, and writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate legal documents.High attention to detail, professional discretion, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.Proficient in English and Arabic; an excellent command of French is considered a strong advantage. Excellent English communication skills.
