We are seeking a skilled and compassionate "General Medicine Doctor" to join a leading Lebanese Hospital in Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, providing preventive care, and managing chronic diseases.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive medical examinations, including taking patient histories, performing physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and injuries.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that include medication, therapy, and lifestyle changes.
  • Provide preventive care, including vaccinations, health screenings, and patient education.
  • Manage chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, through ongoing monitoring and treatment.
  • Consult with other healthcare professionals, such as specialists and nurses, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical research and technology through attending conferences, reading scientific journals, and participating in continuing education courses.
  • Provide compassionate and patient-centered care that meets the unique needs of each individual patient.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Residency training in internal medicine or a related field.
  • Board certification in internal medicine or eligibility for certification.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of current medical practices, trends, and technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
