The Commis Waiter supports the service team by assisting with table setup, delivering food and beverages, clearing tables, and ensuring guests receive excellent service. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals starting in hospitality who want to develop their customer service and restaurant service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in setting up tables, chairs, cutlery, glassware, and linens before service.

Support waiters/waitresses by delivering dishes and drinks to guests.

Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests.

Provide water service and assist with bread, condiments, or side dishes.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.

Ensure that service areas are fully stocked with supplies (cutlery, napkins, plates, etc.).

Greet guests politely and respond to basic requests, referring complex needs to senior staff.

Follow hygiene, safety, and service standards at all times.

Work closely with the service team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous hospitality experience is an advantage but not required.

Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong teamwork skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
