Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recording and reconciling daily financial transactions
- Prepare and maintain journals, ledgers, and general ledger entries
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Assist with bank reconciliations and expense tracking
- Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing systems
- Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to requests
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
- Internship or entry-level accounting experience
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Reports to Senior Accountant or Finance Manager
