Biomedical Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled "Biomedical Engineer" to join a leading Lebanese Hopistal based in Kano, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing medical devices and equipment, as well as conducting research to improve healthcare technology.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop medical devices and equipment, including prosthetics, artificial organs, diagnostic equipment, and imaging systems.
• Conduct research and testing to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of medical devices and procedures.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain and repair medical equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for all medical devices and equipment.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to integrate technology effectively into patient care.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of healthcare technology through attending conferences, reading scientific journals, and participating in continuing education courses.
• Manage projects and timelines effectively, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master's degree in biomedical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar field.
• Experience in designing and developing medical devices and equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for medical devices.
• Solid in knowedlge in medical devices like: MRI, City Scan, Lab devices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
