MISSION
As part of its expansion and diversification strategy, Techvitis has started developing a large scrum master practice that is very important for several of our Business Units. Such expertise is needed in our Fintech services and strategic partnership with Murex as well as in our product development, or our agile advisory services.
Beyond the immediate scope of supporting a long-term mission at Murex, this role develops into a broader career path within Techvitis. As Scrum Masters gain experience in a large scale enterprise environment, they can later reintegrate into Techvitis domains and Centers of Excellence, where their field exposure translates into advisory contributions, software-delivery guidance, and involvement in strategic transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Join a long-term mission as an external scrum master at Murex, with the opportunity to work in a large-scale enterprise environment, adopting the practice at a large scale.
Facilitate agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
Support teams in adopting and adhering to Agile principles and the team operating model.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners to maintain well-groomed and prioritized product backlogs.
Proactively identify and help remove obstacles that impede team progress.
Monitor and support team performance by using agile metrics and promoting transparency.
Foster a collaborative, self-organizing, and high-trust team environment.
Encourage continuous improvement and agile best practices across the team.
Manage dependencies within and across teams to ensure smooth delivery flow.
Assist in risk identification and mitigation strategies.
(For more experienced profiles) Mentor and coach junior Scrum Masters and team members to enhance overall agile capabilities and maturity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
1 to 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or related role.
Basic to good understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
Strong communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.
Fluent English is mandatory; French is a significant advantage.
Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and CRM systems is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
