Doctoral Capstone Director

Job Summary
The Doctoral Capstone Coordinator is responsible for the development, management and coordination of doctoral capstone experiences in compliance with the standards of ACOTE accreditation. The Doctoral Capstone Coordinator procures Capstone sites, ensuring that each doctoral capstone experience is designed through collaboration of the faculty and student, and provided in setting(s) consistent with the program's curriculum design, including individualized specific objectives and plans for supervision, and monitors student progress. Collaborates with the Chair, to design, implement, and evaluate good academic philosophy and practice in the Doctoral Capstone projects, including documenting a formal evaluation mechanism for objective assessment of the student's performance during and at the completion of the doctoral capstone experience.

Required Qualifications
Qualifications Standard 1. Education: Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program. Must have doctoral degree from a United States Department of Education recognized accredited program. 2. Experience: Two or more years' experience as an occupational therapist. 3. Licensure: Oregon State OT license or eligible for State licensure.
