Senior Financial Accountant

Our Client is a leading independent reinsurance group, provide a wide range of niche and specialty reinsurance products to property and casualty insurers, now seeking to hire a "Senior Financial Accountant" at their office in Beirut.
This position reports to the Accounting Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Maintain established departmental policies, procedures and objectives
2. Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records
3. Regularly update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business
transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable)
4. Enter transaction data into system using Sage 100 and Sage X3 (after Merge) or any other system given by
the Management
5. Connect with Banks for Transfers, LGs, Statement of Accounts and any other applications needed
6. Coordinate the monthly book close by the deadline set by superior
7. Coordinate with the external payroll company regarding monthly accounting applications
8. Prepare quarterly budgets to be sent to the finance department
9. Prepare several borderaues for the brokers, company, and the reinsurer
10. Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available
when needed
11. Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to
company accounting and financial guidelines
12. Coordinate with related parties and perform intercompany reconciliation
13. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested by his manager
