Senior Pricing Analyst

We are looking for a professional "Senior Pricing Analyst" for a multinational Freight Forwarding group, who shall work closely with ME regional sales, operations, and network teams to fortify network of agents and vendors. He/She shall assist in developing & implementing pricing strategies which will enhance profitability through tracking the market trend and evaluating competitors positions.
Senior Pricing Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise pricing team across the client region offices and ensure they are responding timely to all pricing requests.
- Support & direct pricing team in compiling and distributing pricing matrixes under several carriers/airlines, with supporting terms and conditions.
- Assist in creating pricing matrixes and sales campaigns.
- Upkeep strong rapport with all carriers, agents and service providers for long term agreements
- Drive best pricing solutions in order to maximize profitability and conduct regular follow meetings with carriers/agents for best price availability
- Track market trends and keeping up to date on prices set by competitors
- Coordinate with ME country managers to make a comprehensive proposal framed with relevant terms & conditions.
- Align with sales team to get timely feedback, respond to opportunities by sourcing pricing and providing deal coordination support.
- Coordinate with internal team including sales, operations as well as vendors (vendors) to source pricing and freight information.
- Process pricing requests for international airfreight and ocean freight businesses. (export, import , cross, etc) in coordination with the pricing team.
- Provide continuous leadership, coaching, development to subordinates.
- Support networking department with the agent pricing assessment through providing routinely feedback on agents pricing, relationship & performance.
- Support direct manager and provide the necessary level of analysis upon requests
- Ensure weekly reports converting enquiry status are sent by the pricing team, to the sales team to monitor shipping progress.
Senior Pricing Analyst Skills and Qualifications:
- BA in logistics, supply chain, management or any relevant field.
- Excellent knowledge of MS. Office (Excel, Word, ppt, and visio)
- A solid experience in pricing unit, preferably in freight forward industry
- Ability to work under pressure within a network of agents
- Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities, critical thinking, detail-orientation, and communication skills.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic, any other language is a plus.
