Capital Partners is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying discrepancies, suggest improvements in processes, and possess the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. As part of our commitment to excellence, the Accountant will contribute to the overall financial health of Capital Partners by ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and supporting financial decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely billing, collection, and payment processing.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure timely payment of taxes.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Continuously improve accounting processes and contribute to the development of financial policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a corporate or retail environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
