We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and financial regulations. This role is a great opportunity for individuals looking to grow their accounting skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain financial transactions in the general ledger.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a regular basis.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and file tax documents and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Support the preparation of internal and external audits.
- Respond to financial inquiries from management and external stakeholders.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for all financial activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related role
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
