CARMA is seeking a Media Monitoring Executive to join our team in Beirut. The ideal candidate will review and assess traditional media content, ensuring that all relevant items are accurately captured and delivered according to client requirements.
Working Days and Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00PM
- Saturdays: Half day
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor newspapers, magazines, and online websites, on a regular basis, and upload relevant articles as per the client's requirements.
- Rename, verify, and send the magazines and newspapers in English, Arabic, Persian, and French languages to the Media track to be converted on CARMA's portal.
- Perform quality assurance on OCR-converted articles to verify the absence of errors, including but not limited to missing articles, broken links, incorrect cropping, section names, irrelevant content, and missing profiles, and make necessary modifications before presenting the content to our clients and in our newsletter.
- Scan, read, crop, and compile newspapers and magazines on BODHI, according to the media list in the region, and compile article clippings for publications that have not yet been converted to OCR.
- Report on errors that are found daily from verifications to direct manager.
- Fix character issues that are reported directly into Dragon system.
- University students or fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, preferably with a background in Journalism, Communication, Advertising, Marketing, PR, or related fields.
- One year as a Media Monitoring Executive or Media Researcher is preferred.
- Great command in English and Arabic. Both written and verbal.
- Ability to join immediately.
Due to the urgency of this role, we are only considering candidates who are available to join immediately.
