We're seeking to hire a seasoned "Senior Property & Casualty Underwriting" for the Facultative Inward Unit in Beirut with the main function is to perform P&C facultative acceptance underwriting for Lebanon & GCC and to maintain good relationships with producers. The successful candidate will be reporting to P&C Facultative Acceptance Manager.

Sr. Property & Casualty Underwriting Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Ensure the proper implementation of the established policies and procedures in the department.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge in treaty terms and conditions
  • Perform technical risk assessment and capacity allocation
  • Ensure full alignment with the treaty's provisions, underwriting guidelines, risk appetite, authority matrix and regulatory frameworks
  • Maintain and promote productive cooperation with business providers
  • Perform and supervise administrative and documentation procedures
  • Comply with the company's Code of Conduct
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Sr. Property & Casualty Underwriting Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in insurance handling property & casualty facultative acceptance underwriting.
  • A Master's degree is a plus
  • CII Certification is a plus
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Pro-active with can-do-attitude
  • Meticulous
  • Ability to work under pressure
