Job Description
We are in search of a dedicated Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of food preparation and service.
Job PurposeThe Kitchen Manager's primary responsibility will be to supervise the daily functioning of the kitchen. This includes managing the kitchen staff, coordinating with the front-of-house team, ensuring efficient food preparation and service, and upholding high standards of hygiene. They will also be required to strategically manage inventory to control food costs and utilize their culinary expertise to maintain the quality and innovation of the menu.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the kitchen to maintain high standards of quality and hygiene.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills to manage kitchen staff efficiently.
- Effectively communicate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage inventory to control food costs and avoid wastage.
- Utilize culinary expertise to maintain the quality, variety, and innovation in the menu.
- Use problem-solving skills to address any operational challenges and constraints that arise.
