Marketing & Communications Intern

The Position: We are looking for a creative and motivated Marketing & Communications Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital marketing, content creation, and brand storytelling. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies that engage our audience, build brand awareness, and support our overall marketing goals.

What you'll do:

• Assist in creating, editing, and publishing engaging content across various platforms (social media, website, newsletters).
• Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and ads.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and competitor strategies.
• Help manage the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor and report on content performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for improvement;
• Collaborate with the design team to create visuals that complement written content.
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and interactions on social platforms.
• Assist in SEO optimization efforts, including keyword research and on-page SEO improvements.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
• Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO and analytics.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas and approaches.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Workspace and experience with design and editing tools like Canva and CapCut.
