We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Customs Compliance Specialist in Beirut, Lebanon. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our organization's compliance with customs formalities NAJM system
- Manage and oversee all aspects of customs compliance for the organization
- Prepare and review import/export documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate with, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties
- Develop and maintain customs compliance procedures and policies
- Assist in resolving customs-related issues and discrepancies
- Provide guidance on tariff classifications and customs valuation
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth customs operations
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in customs compliance or related field
- In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and international trade laws
- Proficiency in customs compliance software and databases
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with import/export procedures and documentation
- Knowledge of Lebanese customs regulations and procedures
- Understanding of international trade agreements and tariffs
- Familiarity with Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English;
