Your mission

War Child Lebanon is recruiting two Research Coordinators for separate research projects under one umbrella: Thriving Through Play

To work on the TeamUp (movement-based, mental health promotion intervention) Quality of Care (QoC) predictor study: We want to assess if the three Quality of Care (QoC) indicators, (i.e. facilitator competency, implementation fidelity and attendance of children) can predict psychosocial outcomes for children participating in the TeamUp intervention. The TeamUp intervention consists of a movement-based, non-verbal approach including group games, sports, dance, routines, movement and body awareness exercises.

To work on play-based methods research project: We aim to develop and test a short, modular, play-based intervention for families with children experiencing behavioral problems in humanitarian settings. We aim for this modular intervention to be feasible to implement as an add-on to existing psychosocial interventions, effective when delivered by non-specialists, and culturally appropriate. The 2-year project will include participatory formative research in coordination with a community advisory board (CAB), Theory of Change workshops and intervention development, followed by field-testing, adaptations, and a feasibility randomized controlled trial (fRCT).

Both funded by LEGO Thriving Through Play grant
