PLM Technician

DescriptionJob Summary: Perform routine clerical and general non-technical and technical laboratory duties under general supervision pertaining to the preanalytical phase such as receiving samples of different sources, pre-analytical processing (ex: centrifugation), and routing/distributing laboratory specimens to appropriate workstations. Support the mission and vision of the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) and that of the Department.Tasks: Ensure that specimens received are properly labeled/identificated, adequate, and prioritized as per the department and the medical center policies and procedures. Enter patient information correctly and accurately to the Laboratory Information System (LIS) as needed.Assign section number(s) to each specimen as per the tests requested.
