This is a fixed-term position with a contract running until 30 September 2027.

Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget, ensuring profitability and high client satisfaction.
• Engage directly with clients to align on project plans, reporting schedules, and budget forecasts, building trust and maintaining strong relationships.
• Coordinate seamlessly with internal IN2 teams and support functions to meet all contracted deliverables at the required quality standards.
• Oversee and drive on-the-ground implementation, managing key partner relationships and proactively mitigating delivery risks.
• Provide clear, consistent updates to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
• Own risk management through active monitoring, updating, and resolving issues logged in the Project RAID register.
• Ensure conflict and gender sensitivity by leading periodic project reviews and embedding best practices in delivery.
• Allocate and approve resources—people, budget, and equipment—to ensure delivery on budget, maximising efficiency and impact.
• Identify growth opportunities by networking with clients to extend contracts, expand services, or secure new business.
• Support business development by contributing to bids, proposals, and client pitches as needed.
• Mentor and manage junior staff, fostering professional growth and a high-performance culture.
• Deputise for senior programmes leadership when required, ensuring continuity in decision-making and strategic oversight.

Qualifications:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• 5 - 10 years' work experience in an international development / NGO or governmental diplomatic / foreign service capacity.
• Project Management Qualification/s (e.g., APMP, Prince, PMP)
• Regional MENA exposure from either personal or professional experience. 
• Bilingual language skills – Arabic + English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Extensive experience of end-to-end project delivery, including budget management and Monitoring, Research Evaluation, and Learning (MREL) methods, tools, and techniques.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work on own initiative.
• Natural leader, able to build relationships across cultures as well as mentor junior colleagues.
