Register guests into the Hotel, ensuring all relevant details are obtained and recorded in the system

Attend to guest queries and complaints in as far as possible/authorized and when needed refer to the Management

Control daily departures allowing smooth check-out according to Hotel s standards and procedures

Maintain accurate control of guest room keys

Take over reservations when the Reservation office is closed or in the absence of the team

Maintain a cash float for use with guest payment of accounts and foreign currency exchange

Make sure all departures with an account to a company have supporting documents attached

Remain up to date with all rates, packages and promotions being offered by the Hotel

Stay up to date with all Food and Beverage activities, promotions, themed evenings, entertainment, etc. along with costs and timing and other related information

Promote and maintain good public relations while endeavoring to maximize on occupancy and average room rate

Remain aware of the Hotel s budgeted occupancy and average room rate

Solicit guest satisfaction and request guest comments, if any, about their experience at the Hotel

Maintain the reception logbook and Opera traces for detailed handover

Escort all arrivals to their rooms upon check-in, give thorough information and promote the hotel facilities

Contribute actively to the Hotel s daily selling and up selling figures

Adjust information to maintain updated data in the system

Keep a clear, uncluttered and appealing Reception area and take prompt action when tidiness is needed or ask for the relevant department support

Mark down all flaws, never turning a blind eye and notify immediately concerned while keeping track for follow up
