Senior Financial Sector Development Specialist

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, is seeking an experienced professional to join its team as a Senior Financial Sector Development Specialist.

• Promote and lead financial sector investment projects in Lebanon and across the region, with a focus on fragile and conflict-affected situations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, and partners to develop the financial sector and identify new investment opportunities.
• Lead portfolio supervision and provide technical assistance to support the growth and stability of the financial sector.
• Identify innovative financial structures and instruments that can support the needs of financial sector clients and drive new transaction mandates for the IFC.

• Master's degree in finance, management, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in finance, investment, and/or banking, with a proven track record of sourcing, structuring, and closing investments.
• Experience working in the Lebanese market and/or similar fragile and conflict-affected situations.
• Strong financial and credit skills, with the ability to structure a variety of financial instruments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the financial industry and the ability to identify trends and opportunities in the Middle East region.
