Job Title: Highly Specialized Neonatal Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate neonatal nurse to join our team in the NICU. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide round-the-clock care to premature and severely ill newborn infants, utilizing your expertise and experience to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Care for the basic needs of infants; for example, feeding and changing diapers
  • Perform medical procedures; for example, inserting intravenous lines, performing tests, and administering medications
  • Assist physicians in medical procedures and treatments
  • Use and adjust specialized medical equipment
  • Formulate nursing plans and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments
  • Comfort ill newborns and anxious parents and family members
  • Offer support to parents and family members, educating them on at-home care for their newborn
  • Perform physical exams, electrocardiograms, pulse oximetry, and urinalyses
  • Organize, maintain, and update medical records
  • Care for infants with chest tubes, Ryle feeding, colostomy, tracheostomy, central venous catheters, and urine catheters
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the same field
  • Dataflow proficiency
  • Saudi license holder is a plus
  • Fluent in English
