IT Assistant

**Job Summary:** IT Manager responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating technology installations, and ensuring information security and control structures.

**Job Description:**

Monitor daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

* Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance to ensure seamless integration and minimal downtime.
* Run and share regular operation system reports with senior staff to inform strategic decisions.
* Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations to optimize performance and reduce costs.
* Audit systems and assess their outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
* Preserve assets, information security, and control structures to protect against cyber threats and data breaches.
* Select and purchase new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary, to ensure compatibility and efficiency.
* Test, troubleshoot, and modify information systems to ensure they operate effectively and efficiently.
* Ensure all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
* Develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures to minimize downtime and data loss.

**Requirements:**

* Minimum of 2 years of proven working experience in the IT Department.
* BS in Computer Science, MIS, or similar field.
* Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies.
* Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
