The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the company's online sales strategy and operations. The role involves overseeing website performance, driving traffic, improving user experience, and leading initiatives to maximize sales and customer engagement.
1. Website Management:
Manage the overall performance of the e-commerce website.
Ensure the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for conversion.
Work closely with IT, design, and marketing teams to maintain the website's functionality and content.
Regularly review site analytics and implement changes to improve performance (e.g., load times, bounce rates).
2. Digital Marketing & Strategy:
Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to increase online sales.
Oversee SEO, SEM, and PPC campaigns to drive traffic and maximize ROI.
Manage email marketing, social media, and affiliate marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with marketing to ensure promotions are effectively communicated and implemented online.
3. Sales & Conversion Optimization:
Analyze and report on sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
Use A/B testing, UX/UI improvements, and other tools to optimize conversion rates.
Monitor pricing strategies, competitor analysis, and market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
4. Customer Experience:
Improve the customer journey by optimizing the site's structure, navigation, and checkout process.
Ensure seamless integration of online and offline customer experiences
Manage customer feedback and resolve issues related to website performance and order fulfillment.
5. Inventory & Order Management:
Oversee stock levels, ensuring products are available and displayed accurately online.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely fulfillment of online orders.
Monitor return rates and product reviews, implementing solutions for continuous improvement.
6. Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce and digital marketing professionals.
Coordinate with other departments (logistics, customer service, etc.) to ensure smooth e-commerce operations.
7. Reporting & Analytics:
Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, conversion rates, traffic, and customer acquisition costs.
