Job Description
We are seeking a Director of UX/UI Facilitator with a focus on Human-Centered Design and Strategy Consulting for our Banking/Finance clients in GCC & NALP. This position requires a blend of creative and technical disciplines to lead our team towards delivering superior digital experiences.. The individual will also play an active role in growing the consulting practice through development of team structures, practice disciplines, coaching and mentoring methods while ensuring standardized methodology to proposals, project delivery and project impact measurement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the sales and delivery of high impact Product Experience and Design (PxD) projects in GCC & NALP while resolving complex strategic problems and meeting business targets for clientsProactively manage Client engagements in key markets to foster value-added services growthLead the planning and delivery of solutions and service line offerings into GCC & NALP, working with Solutions and Hub leaders to address client needs in the region Identify additional client project opportunities and lead the preparation of proposals for new client workOversee and create the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) solutions for our regio with a focus on human-centered design. Work closely with our clients in the banking/finance sectors to understand their needs and create strategies to meet these needs effectively. Lead consulting assignments involving user experience design and strategy, user research, information architecture, interaction design, user interface design, and usability testing. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in UX/UI design and usability. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless and user-friendly experiences. Stay current with the latest UX/UI trends, techniques, and technologies. Support in the development and dissemination of knowledge across the wider CEMEA region, in line with the CEMEA VCA Digital and Strategy LeadSupport GCC & NALP Consulting & Analytics leadership on project and practice economics, value-in-kind forecasts, burn rates, utilization, scorecards and to manage risk and quality of the project deliverablesDevelop IP and knowledge sharing with consulting & data science teams in other regions to incorporate best practice, source analytical or other solutions to bring global perspective to local clientsPlay a leadership role in talent recruitment, coaching and development of consultants
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience ideally with proven experience as a UX/UI Director or similar role. Extensive experience in strategy consulting, preferably with banking/finance clients. Proficient in design software (such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD) and other visual design tools. Strong understanding of UX design principles and techniques (e.g. Human centered design, HCD). Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Computer Science or related topics Experience driving large-scale change management initiatives either in a consulting or practitioner capacity A combination of local/regional (GCC & NALP) and global experience in financial services is strongly desired Ability to develop strategies and activities to increase effectiveness of programs based on performance Excellent communication, story-telling and presentation skills A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Relationship management skills – should be able to manage internal and external stakeholders at senior levels Able to travel frequently and work on client site for extended periods across GCC & NALP Fluency in English mandatory. Additional language skills (Arabic or French) are preferred.
