We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project specifications, and ensuring that all tenders are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Cost Estimation and Tendering: Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for various construction projects, analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documents to develop comprehensive bids.
- Project Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive pricing, reviewing and assessing tender documents, contracts, and addendums to understand project requirements.
- Supplier and Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure that estimates are comprehensive and accurate, ensuring that all tenders are submitted on time and meet client and company standards.
- Contract Negotiation and Compliance: Assist in the negotiation of contracts and ensure compliance with company policies, providing support in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Project Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate ongoing projects to ensure alignment with cost estimates and budgets, preparing method statements and execution plans inline with project requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience in construction, with a strong focus on estimation and tendering, preferably in the Saudi Arabian market.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, proficiency in relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
