DRC received registration from the Ministry of Interior in 2011, and since then has focused primarily on responding to the Syrian refugee crisis in Lebanon and the resulting impact on Lebanese host community.
DRC Lebanon's focus is to ensure that we are able to respond to critical emerging humanitarian needs whilst improve the living conditions of displacement-affected populations and contribute to the achievement of durable solutions.
With an annual portfolio of $10million, and with approximately 180+ staff, DRC is focusing its response in protection and economic recovery sector in Bekka, North Lebanon and Beirut.
DRC is also contributing to the evidence base and coordination structures in country through our Evidence Generation and RIMS teams.
About the job
We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Data Collectors to join DRC Lebanon Team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering accurate and reliable data from humanitarian workers. This role involves data collection through online services.
The Data Collector will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our data, which is essential for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

Data Collection: Conduct interviews to gather data through surveys, interviews, and observations. Ensure data is collected in accordance with established protocols and methodologies.

Data Entry and Management: Accurately enter collected data into databases and spreadsheets. Maintain organized records of all data collection activities. Perform regular data quality checks to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
Compliance and Confidentiality:
- Adhere to all ethical guidelines and company policies regarding data collection and confidentiality.
- Ensure the privacy and security of sensitive information.
About you
To be successful in this role we expect you to have:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social sciences, statistics, data science) preferred.
- Previous experience in data collection, research, or a related field with an humanitarian organization preferred.
- Experience with data entry and database management tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other data collection tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
