Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Analyze and reconcile banks and suppliers' statements
  • Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Send statements to the customers and contact them to arrange collections
  • Send receivable aging reports to the management and sales teams on a weekly basis
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly closings
Skills, Competencies and Knowledge

  • Hands-on experience working with general ledgers
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Great attention to details
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills
  • Proficient with ERP systems, including Microsoft Office
Educational Background and Experience
Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or relevant field
1 to 2 years of experience
