We are creating the Middle Eastâs local digital champion and are looking for world-class talent to join our team.

What youâll do:

We at noon are looking for talented individuals for âAssistant Buyerâ role in the Home category. As an Assistant buyer, you are expected to deliver on following:

â Develop a deep and long-standing relationship with strategic sellers/brands to drive profitable growth

â Ensure competitive pricing of brands. Source deals from brands during monthly sales and key events

â Identifying customer preferences, monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers

â Provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activities

â Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and best practice tools and methods

â Manage the entire PO process to ensure optimal inventory.

â Work with the WH to ensure correct in-warding of stocks as well as clear any other issues in the process

â Work with the content & merchandising teams to ensure the best visibility for the products procured.

â Ensure all reconciliations are done within the planned time for smooth payments.

What youâll need:

â Bachelor's degree

â 1-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

â Experience in Furniture, Bedding, Home Improvement, Tooling, Home Décor or Kitchen-Dining categories is preferred

â Highly detail oriented with proven strong business sense

â Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities

â Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets

â Able to work with tight timelines and limited resources

â Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
