From our AI recruiter and intelligence platform to internal data quality and research tooling, micro1 turns expert human judgment into high-signal datasets, measurable outcomes, and continuously improving AI systems.
Role
As a Forward Deployed MTS, you sit at the boundary of customer delivery, applied research, and production engineering. You own AI data and training pipelines end-to-end, translating real-world signals into scalable, production systems that directly improve model performance.
What You'll Do
Partner directly with researchers at frontier AI labs to identify model gaps, define success metrics, and shape training strategy.
Work embedded with customers to identify gaps, define success, and drive execution.
Design task formats, evaluations, and training setups aligned to real-world objectives.
Rapidly ship high-quality outputs using Off-The-Shelf (OTS) pipelines; own new pipelines from kickoff to production.
Build and maintain production-grade code, integrations, and automated data/training workflows.
Act as the technical owner for pipeline architecture, bridging researchers, customers, and internal platform teams.
What We're Looking For
Strong engineering background with ownership of complex systems from design to production.
Experience owning end-to-end AI or data pipelines in production environments.
Comfort operating in ambiguity, moving fast, and shipping repeatedly.
Clear communicator who can translate customer feedback into technical execution.
Proven ability to lead technical delivery and mentor others.
Nice to Have
Experience with model training workflows or applied ML systems.
Background in applied research or customer-embedded engineering roles.
